I promised myself years ago that I would never stay silent if someone I know is looking for a book recommendation. After all, there's always been a story that's inspired the sharpest turns in my life. It's simple; once per month, I'll send you three books that I absolutely couldn't put down — usually a mix of fiction and nonfiction, but I do have certain authors and themes that I gravitate toward. You can get a sense of my tastes by browsing my Top Books list. I Want You To Know{*} I've personally recommended over 200 books since 2012. I don't recommend books I haven't read. Some others might do that, or take money to plug people's stuff but that's not what I would want for you or me.
{*} If you write me, I'll respond. Whether you loved the books, hated them, or have your own recommenations, I'm all ears. {*} I don't sell emails or share my list. And you'll only get one email per month. These days, it seems common practice to spam people with promotions. I figure your inbox, if yours is anything like mine, gets too much as is. |
